As I was watching the demonstrations in New York over the "exoneration" of another thug cop by a toothless prosecutor and grand jury, I saw one that looked like it was in Times Square where one of those crawling lights thingies with the day's headlines was running, and on it was an ad for ABC TV's new drama "How to Get Away With Murder" and the obvious answer popped into my head: Wear a badge.

Yup, it's a world wide phenomenon.

(Hey, my second video embed! I'm on a roll!!!

And while I'm at it, check out this great diary on kos:

That's my experience too, working with them as I sometimes did as a lawyer.

I make it a RULE I dont argue or debate on facebook, ever. But yesterday I did. Not much and in a fairly 'safe' thread, lol, and with someone I dont know from a hole in the wall either (that helps!) but yeah.

I have avoided getting political on Facebook. A lot of my friends don't follow things as closely as we do and they like Obama. They think he's been held back by the Republicans. I see things like a quote from Bernie about how business taxes have gone way down and I want to say "hey Democrats! Do something about this!" but that would lead to I don't know what....I want to say "stop blaming ONLY Republicans!" but Facebook is not the place to have the discussion. It's too brief and the subject is too complicated for that venue.
